Lots of work takes place over the winter months to make sure the classic cars are in tip-top condition for your wedding when the time comes. Deep under the bonnet the Vintage Daimler has had the steering fully renovated. None of the parts are available ‘off the shelf’ so the roller bearing races shown here had to be specially made. Fortunately they are the same pattern as some Alvis and Bentley cars of the same era.

The difference between the left and the right clearly show that 90 years of wear and tear takes its toll on smooth surfaces. The new one (left) should last another 90 years …
